The Fluffer is a comedic play set in the early days of X rated movies with Bunny Rabbit Productions, a neurotic, matriarchal, family-run porno business. It's 1975 in New York City; we peek behind the scenes, with all the action taking place in the Green Room as the actors are coming and going to the set. Complex interactions, competitiveness, and the camaraderie of a small troupe of regular actors -- as they contend with fish-out-of-water newbies. The Fluffer explores their private lives and reveals their true hopes and dreams. Based on real X rated actors, The Fluffer offers rare insights into the people who bare their bodies, protect their souls, and finally reveal their tenderness. It's an eye-opening play with no sex or nudity, but it does contain graphic adult language and sexual sound bites.
It is appropriate for audiences 18 or older only.
