Monday Announcement!

Weekly Facebook Live Video

Every Monday, Chris goes live on Facebook -- usually to offer up pair of free tix to an upcoming show. This week, he's got a new plan.

We're working on adapting improv for this new, socially distanced world and have some ideas brewing.

For now, check out Monday's video and give us a location in the comments.

Watch it here!

Special Guest Dave Razowsky

Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed - UNCENSORED Video

It's an oldie but a goodie! Dave Razowsky, former artistic director of Second City LA, performs on our stage as a special guest!

He gives life advice to NBOJU cast member Mary - and it's all made up on the spot.

Note - this video contains adult language, so it's not for the kids.

House Team Samplers

Tonight's special is "Leaky Faucets" with a "Big Daddies" garnish

Big Daddies

New-ish Car

Big Daddies is the Improv Duo of Matt Beaudry & Michael Pierce - and the newest house team performing monthly at Unscrewed Theater.

With 7 children between them, they know a thing or two about fun, laughter, and fatherly advice.

Watch what happens when Matt goes in to buy a new car...and is redirected toward something that is new......ish.

Watch it here!

Leaky Faucets

Grand Opening 2.0 Show

Brianna, Adam, and Walter are the trio that make up Leaky Faucets - an improv team that performs long-form comedy with confessions from the characters of this crazy, made-up world.

This show is based on the below audience suggestions - see how it plays out from the safety and comfort of your own home.

"A Child" (a very cherished item of a spouse or significant other that you lost and never told them about)

"Rugby" (an extreme sport)

"Celery" (anything that is not a racquetball.)

AZ Gives Day

Arizona Gives Day is April 7, 2020!

While this is a day for all Arizonans to come together and support their favorite nonprofits, this year's Give Day has taken on a new meaning due to the current pandemic. There's nothing funny about that.

We would normally ask for donations to further grow and promote our programming and to bring improv comedy to an even larger part of the Tucson community.

This year we are asking you to help us make it through these crazy times.

$6500.00

That's our cost to run our theater for one month. That's our rent, electricity, insurance - everything it takes to keep us afloat. Even if we aren't having any shows or classes.

And as a 100% volunteer-run improv comedy theater, 50% of our revenue comes from ticket sales, and 40% comes from improv classes and venue rentals.

Our revenue streams have run dry during this time of social distancing. We need your help.

Every dollar donated will help us weather this temporary shutdown and come back stronger, and funnier, than ever! Until then, we'll continue to entertain you on our facebook page and YouTube channel.

Please go to http://bit.ly/AZGivesDay2020UT and make your donation today!

PS. No, we're still not sure how long we'll stay dark. Does anyone really know anything about the future these days? The safety of our improv community is our first concern.

But keep your eyes peeled for other new news about how to enjoy LIVE unscrewed funny from afar. We predict much laughter in your future!
