Going Virtual!
Lunada a succes!
Thank you for tuning in recently to our first livestream event, La Lunada: A Virtual Literary Lounge. It was a magical evening as we communed virtually with flor y canto to usher in the new moon. We couldn't have done it without our collaborating partner Galeria de la Raza, the amazing line up of poets and DJ, the committed folks behind the scenes who made it happen and your continued patronage. In case you missed it, you can watch it on our YouTube channel HERE!
Gracías for riding this wave as we adapt to and maneuver a virtual space. We look forward to staying connected. In the weeks and months to come, keep an eye out for livestream events, brought to you with the same corazon and innovation you've come to expect from Borderlands Theater.

Unceded Airwaves
A livestream under quarantine by Adam Cooper-Terán
Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00pm
Live on Borderlands Theater's Facebook and YouTube pages!
Borderlands' ensemble member Adam Cooper-Terán (ACT) presents a curated set of media from his expansive repertoire of video art, performance, and music spanning nearly two decades. The show is a meditation and response to these pandemic times we are living in, combining new and unseen works addressing the ongoing struggles in these borderlands, and the world at large. This is not passive TV, it is an indictment of the mainstream narrative, remixed to provoke and inspire audiences. Warning: there will be images of flashing lights and some disturbing imagery regarding child detention centers.
