"I lobbied for the creation of a department of the arts with the federal government, but the Congressmen who would support that had not yet been born. I did manage to convince Congress – through Woodrow, of course - to pass legislation to clean up the dirty alleys where colored people lived in shacks with no plumbing - although I had to die to accomplish that – it was sort of - Congress granting my dying wish – and I suppose that was my greatest accomplishment. Well, no. I'm very fond of my "Landscape with Stumps and Pond."
Cynthia Jeffery as Ellen Wilson, First Lady 1913-1914
"Consolation is not about picking winners and losers, but more about developing a longer view. Everyone will have an opinion." Chuck Graham tucsonstage.com
"Very professional and well done. The conversations between the first ladies themselves and with Hillary were incredible." Audience comment
