We got another one for you, the announcement of our last brand new Digital Edition team, Dawson's One Tree River Hills 85705!  In other words, TIM's brand new high school drama.  For the first time ever, we are doing episodic improv!  The performers will know their characters, the story will develop over the season of shows, and you inspire the drama by your suggestions.  So a few things known ahead of time, but the whole thing made up before your very eyes.  Set your DVR for this amazing cast: Eric Manch, Michael Areinoff, Susan Leonetti, Holly Hilton, David Flax, Rafi Herreras Zinman, Daniel Kirby, and Jessie Stapp.

I am so proud of the work that our performers are doing to create these Digital Edition shows.  Since the pandemic started we have been putting up our regular teams and stretching those formats over a digital edition.  Back in August when we presented the idea of doing a Digital Season, we had so many people jump on board, and work to figure out new things we have never done before. Thank you to our digital coaches: Dave Devery, Kassi Efrid, Rafi Herreras Zinman, Daniel Kirby, Susan Leonetti, Kurt Lueders, Cristin Phibbs, and Mike Schilling, for pulling these teams together.  I appreciate you, the audience, for sticking with us, and please watch on our Facebook Live starting tomorrow night as the first new teams go up.  And as always, it's tough being shut down during a pandemic, so please consider purchasing a Digital Edition Ticket, as that helps us keep going during this difficult time!

We are planning/hoping to reopen our doors on Saturday, October 17th.  We are working through the Pima County "Ready For You" reopening guidelines, and are looking to test out a hybrid model with our theater through the end of the year.  If cases stay low, and we can prove our safety measures, work we will run Saturday night live shows at 7:30pm and 9pm.  A full update will come next week, but here is the plan.

  • Everyone will wear masks at all times: staff, performers and audience members.
  • Cluster seating six feet apart.  We have clusters of five seats, four seats, and 2 seats.  A seating map and cluster tickets will be available for purchase on our website.
  • We are reducing the number of staff and performers in the theater on any given night.
  • There will be lots of hand sanitizer, open doors, and the highest rated filters in our air circulation units.

More information coming next week, but we look forward to making things up with you in person.  Until then mask up, wash hands, and lets keep the cases in Pima County low so we can do this!
