Over the last couple years we have started a tradition of doing a Soap Box show in conjunction with Pride weekend in Tucson. I am so excited to continue that tradition this year in a socially distanced way. We are lucky to have three LGBTQ+ State Representatives from the Arizona Legislature on the show to offer stories for our improvisers. On Friday evening at 8pm, we proudly celebrate Tucson Pride as an LGBTQ owned business, and are excited to share with you the stories of our community! Thank you for joining us State Representatives Cesar Chavez, Daniel Hernandez, and Arlando Teller!
Next week we get fully immersed in Spooky Season with two ghoulishly delightful shows. On Thursday night we have the Stuck at Home Halloween Show where our comedians bring you the funny in light of the Nightmare on Elm Street happening in the world right now. Then on Friday we present Ghouls, Goblins and Guffaws Comedy Show featuring a large contingent of the TIM performing Company doing improv comedy to get you though a scary evening! No parties, no trick-or-treaters, no costumes, no problem! TIM has you covered with Halloween comedy!
We are getting ready to go back in person. Improv 101 starting on Tuesday, November 10th will be our first in person comedy class since we shut down the theater in March. We are working out all of the precautions including limiting the class to six students, everyone wearing masks and observing six feet of social distancing at all times. We hope to reopen our in person comedy school in a safe way! Thank you Tucson for your continued support, and we hope to see some of you there.
