Tucson Improv Movement bringing back live and in person comedy shows starting Saturday March 20th

One year ago today on March 12th of 2020 we hosted our last live show at the theater. What a year it has been! We have missed being in the same space as you and laughing together, especially because we needed laughter this past year. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us in the past year by purchasing a Digital Edition ticket or watching a show on our Facebook Live. We appreciate everyone who has helped us make it through. Tonight you can catch Dawson's One Tree River Hills 85705 on our Facebook Live bringing you some zany high school antics to your screen.

We are excited to be looking to the future and bringing back live and in person comedy shows starting Saturday March 20th. We will be selling pods of four seats for $30, and each pod will be 6 feet apart from each other and the stage. Masks will be required at all times, and our performers will be wearing masks/face shields. We are going to be limit the number of performers on a stage at a time to two people, and the show will last 40 minutes with no intermission. With all of these mechanisms in place we think we can start doing shows in a safe manner. We met this week with our performers to go over performance guidelines and are working out line ups for these shows. For the first two weeks 3/20 and 3/27, we are going to do an improv show at 7:30pm and a stand up show at 9pm. We will also not be selling beer, wine, drinks, or snacks the first two weeks as we figure out how to do it safely, but we encourage you to go to REVEL Wine Bar our next do neighbor before or after the show to enjoy some drinks and light food fare! So get your comedy cluster together and come out to a show at TIM, tickets are now on sale on our website.
