DESCRIPTION

Join the Marlu Allan & Scott Stallard Costume Shop for an Introduction to Two-Part Resin masterclass. Our first Intro to Two-Part Resin Masterclass was such a success, we're bringing it back for a second time. In this three-hour class, Kathleen Trott, Arizona Opera’s Costume Shop Manager, will lead attendees through the process of using two-part resin to make some jewelry and to create a hard finish over art projects.

 

Each Masterclass purchased helps train an Arizona Opera Production Apprentice, enabling them to learn the skills and gain the experience necessary to begin their careers with confidence.

 

Most needed materials are covered in the Class WITH Kit fee. Please note this masterclass will be held virtually. Once you secure your spot by purchasing below, you will receive a Zoom link via email 24 hours prior to the event. This masterclass will be recorded. All attendees will receive a link to the recording 2-3 days after the livestream to re-watch as needed. This project will produce some fumes and be messy, so please choose a WELL ventilated and safe for mess crafting area. 

 

Supplies Provided:

· 3 oz part 1 resin in bottle

· 3 oz part 2 hardener in bottle

· 2 glitter packages

· 3 pigment packages

· 2- 8 oz mini disposable measuring cups

· 2 stir sticks

· 2 pair of latex-free gloves

· 1 pendant mold

· 1 brooch mold

· 1 keychain mold

· 2 tassels

· 1 wood coaster

· 3 metal leaf foil in envelope

· 2 metal leaf flake in .5 oz container

· 1 tweezers

· 1 paint brush

· 1 pin back

· 1 necklace chain

· 1 cork back

· 1/2 sheet sand paper

· 1 foam brush

· 1 super glue

· 1 wooden scoop

· 5-6 pressed flowers

 

Supplies Needed Not Provided in Kit:

· Hair dryer

· Paper towels

· Trash bag (to cover work surface)

· WELL ventilated work area

 

Additional Notes:

Please choose below if you would like to pick up your kit at the Arizona Opera Center (1636 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85004) or have it shipped to you.

Shipping: Orders must be placed by March 21, 2021 in order to be shipped in time for the masterclass. The cost of shipping has already been calculated in the price below. You will not be charged an additional shipping fee.
Pick Up: Orders must be picked up from the Arizona Opera Center by March 24, 2021.
