Unscrewed Theater April Workshops & FREE Shows!

It's been quite the year.
And we're still here.
Bringing funny to your home.
So you're never alone.

At least on Saturday night.

We CANNOT WAIT to see you again in person. And you have to know we are working towards that end. In every way we can!

For the last year, we've been able to pay all our expenses - thanks to your donations and COVID relief grants and loans. We are grateful beyond measure for your support during our "gap year."

But we need your help getting the doors back open.

In order to see your smiling faces again, we need upgrades and enhancements to make sure YOU have the safest experience possible while enjoying our shows.

And that costs money we just don't have right now.

So we've set this year's goal for Arizona Gives Day at $10,000.

And to make Arizona Gives Day even more special, we're having a FREE SHOW that night.

Yes, you saw that right.
We're having a show on a SCHOOL NIGHT!
And it's FREE!
And it's FAMILY FRIENDLY.
Can't get much better than that, now can it?

And we thank you, in advance, for ANY donation you can make that will head us towards face-to-face funny again. Honestly, every little bit helps move us closer to laughing together LIVE IN OUR THEATER.

So - what else is going on in April?
Glad you asked.

First, keep in mind that all times listed are 🌵Tucson time🌵 When the time changed all over the country, us folks in AZ did NOT change our clocks. (Lucky us!) So, we're on the same time as the west coast now. Adjust your improv expectations accordingly.😎

The list is pretty long, so pull up a chair and rest a spell.

Did you miss the sign-up for our Improv Basics class? Too bad. Next time. You can still try Improv on for size EVERY Monday night - from the comfort of your own sofa. Jon Benda and I host Improv Drop-ins from 6:30 - 8:00pm - with folks from all over the country joining in! $10 donation suggested. TRY IT! It's a great way to end your Monday with a bang.

Or maybe you're interested in more advanced improv engagement. We're thrilled to announce that we're partnering with Liz Allen again, and we've lined up THREE Friday Night Workshops.

Liz Allen brings a lifetime of improv experience to our Unscrewed Theater workshops. She has performed, coached, directed and written about improv for over 28 years. All the while winning award after award and teaching hundreds of workshops.

Cavalcade of Characters – May 14 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Have you had your 10 minutes of improv with Dawn yet? If not, it's time to develop that Friday habit. Every Friday at 10:00am, our very own Dawn spends sometime with improvisors from across the world. Trust me, you don't wanna miss the fun. Exclusively on our Facebook Page.

Shows. And we've got SHOWS!

Four family-friendly House Parties - one every Saturday of the month @ 7:30PM. Free, on Zoom, as they have been for the last year. If you like a little spice with your Improv, the UNCENSORED IMPROV is on at 9:30PM on 4/10 and 4/24. Mark your calendars. Or better yet - register now!

And that's not all. On the last Sunday of the month (that's the 25th in April,) we've got Sunday SmashUp. Five teams from all over the country show up at 6:00pm - and perform all kinds of improv. And don't let the time slot fool you. Who knows what will happen?
