Brief Bio:

My filmmaking career snuck up on me.  In fact, it was the last thing I ever thought I'd be doing, unlike Doug who's been doing this all his life.  It started with writing a short story for a class at Pima in 1990.  Then Steve Anderson read a script that won the silver at The PAGE Awards and wanted to direct it if I ever had it produced.  So, what the heck--I produced Lucky U Ranch, a coming of age story from the early 50s.  Doug Raine came on board as a producer and I loved working with him.  You can watch it on Amazon.

I think by now I have about a dozen scripts, with 3 or 4 I'd love to see produced, but I'm one year shy of 80, so let's get real.  Actually, let's not get real.

Doug did all the hard stuff, found our cast and crew. Roderick Stevens signed up as the  production designer.  I was the screenwriter, I wrote the script and wrote the checks.  Justin Kreinbrink stepped in as Line producer, with Monsoon Production Services, and Michele Gisser and Tara Kreinbrink, editors.  Brian Shanley, our DP for Lucky U Ranch, once again our DP.  It's the perfect story for our world today, so lucky me.  Genie Joseph and Victoria Lucas were helpful with ideas for the script.  It is a collaboration after all.
