Winding Road presents
our third annual Eight 10s in Tucson! 

It's opening week, as we continue our closer look at our plays, playwrights, and director collaborations! Please join us Friday, May 28th at 7:30 pm for Opening Night, with LIVE talkback after the show!

A middle-aged man and a young man travel through a barren, desolate space. They fold clothes and place them into suitcases, but before they can continue their next journey arguments arise about leadership and life choices. Their intense conversation with resonate with many.

153 has been produced at in-person festivals in Hapeville, Georgia and Lafayette, Indiana. It also has been produced for a YouTube festival in Indianapolis, Indiana.

STEVEN G. MARTIN (Playwright) is a playwright based out of Lafayette, Indiana. His plays have been performed in Georgia, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and the U.K. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, with more scripts available at New Play Exchange. He is grateful that Winding Road Theater Ensemble is producing "153" in Eight 10s Online ten-minute play festival.
 
SEAN CRONIN (Director) is a Tucson-based artist drawing on an eclectic background in devised theatre, non-profit work, multi-lingual education, and all-around observer of life, the universe, and everything. Obtaining degrees in Theatre and French in 2011, Sean has since taught nationally and abroad. As a director with local devised theatre projects, he has had the fortune to create art and stories alongside many of Tucson's varied and vibrant communities of all languages, histories, and artistic backgrounds. Recent credits include projects at the Rogue Theatre and Scoundrel & Scamp, and he is pleased to be returning for his second project with the Winding Road.

Eight 10s in Tucson will be presented online, opening May 28th and running through June 30th. Join us opening night for a talkback with the artists. Or stream to watch on demand, at your leisure. Admission to the Eight 10's play festival is $20.
