Tucson Improv Movement 31 days, 10 shows, one Spooky Season!

31 days, 10 shows, one Spooky Season! Okay I'm sorry Survivor premiered last week, and we know your boy is obsessed, but I am more obsessed with the Spooky Season shows that have arrived at TIM starting this weekend. This is my favorite month at the theater, I love doing haunted improv, I love the show themes, I love using Halloween puns in all of our advertising. Does it get any better?!?! We have a tradition of doing a special run of shows every October, and this year we bring your the Spooky Season Double Feature. The first half of the show will be the Haunted Tees a cackling short form candycornacopia of funny. Then in the second half we have the Spoooooky Girls: the live, improvised, true crime podcast. Cristin Phibbs and Czarina Nafarrate have been working hard to bring your favorite murder type podcasts to the stage every Saturday night at 9pm. To top it all off we have spooky stand up, costumed shows, and the return of our annual tradition of performing the Bat Halloween weekend. So we hope you have a Happy Howl-oween, howling with laughter at TIM!

We also have another first this weekend, Punball Wizards, a show about seven years in the making is debuting tonight at 8:30pm. Four of Tucson's best pun masters will try to barrel over the competition and bring the dry heat to be the punniest person in the Sonoran Desert. The show title honors the history of our original location being next to DnD Pinball. We have been talking about doing this show forever, because I love puns, and we as a theater we groan it!
