We're thrilled to announce SEASON TWO of 10 Minutes With Dawn right here on our Facebook page!
And to celebrate, Dawn is bringing back her very first guest - The amazing Alrinthea Carter! We'll get to watch a brand-new episode and catch up with what Al's been up to since we saw her last.
Alrinthea is a photographer, Muppet Super Fan (wocka wocka), DJ, and Fly Girl who spends her free time as a screenwriter.
Alrinthea got her start in comedy entertaining guests at her parents' pretty legendary house parties. Her photography, which focuses on the abandoned mills and homes of the southeast, has been shown in local galleries and been featured in The Pembroke Magazine and The South Carolina Review.
She is completely obsessed with music and is always working to create The Great American Playlist.
In the community, Alrinthea raises funds for organizations that support those currently in treatment for cancer and their families and volunteers for Camp Happy Days, a weeklong camp for children fighting pediatric cancers. She also manages Social Media accounts for many community groups, including Alchemy Comedy!
She is always searching for new ways to implement glitter into her daily life while waiting for a call back confirming her selection as a Solid Gold Dancer, which should be any day now.

Remember that the Scholars, Professors, and Intellectuals are not who Shakespeare wrote for – he wrote for actors first and the audience (many of whom were drunk and rowdy) next, so let's join the party!
"The play's the thing," and we do mean play.
They are called "plays," and that is what we are going to do. If you want a serious look at Shakespeare's work, "Pray thee look not hereupon, for we seek silly here."
A bit about playing Shakespeare and faking Shakespeare. Secrets of thee, thou and thy, word patterns and tropes.

About the instructor...
Jon Benda has been with NBOJU for 16 years. He has studied and performed in improv, interactive theatre, classic theatre, children's theatre. Jon loves taking classes and has taken most of what Unscrewed Theater has offered. His greatest strength is in interactive theatre, and he has studied with Gary Izzo, among others. He wants actors to play at the top of their game.
