UNSCREWED THEATER'S 9th ANNIVERSARY!

January 27 & 28, 2023

 

We're on Cloud 9 and Feelin' Fine!

 

Unscrewed Theater celebrates its 9th Anniversary on January 27th & 28th, 2023! They're on Cloud 9 and Feeling Fine. Fine? YES! This will be the first in-person Anniversary Weekend Celebration in two years, and they're providing hilarious improv comedy goodness with guest stars both nights!

 

Friday, January 27th, at 7:30pm, is an all-ages Super-Sized Show featuring performers from all four Unscrewed Theater House Teams along with Special Guests AZ Daily Star cartoonist & columnist David Fitzsimons and KGUN9 correspondent Tina Giuliano. "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" style improv will be on display, along with an abbreviated improvised musical and a mini-issue of an improvised comic book.

 

On Saturday, January 28th, KDRI 107.1FM midday host Ken Carr will join Unscrewed Theater's founding House Te,am "Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed," at 7:30pm for a family-friendly Anniversary Celebration. The comedy is created spontaneously based on audience suggestions.

 

Ken will stick around for the UNCENSORED 9pm show featuring "Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed and "The Big Daddies," a 2-man duo who base their comedy on the best (or worst) advice YOU ever got from a father figure. Ages 17+ admitted.

 

In addition to the endless laughter, there will be big-ticket door prize drawings at every show (a $500 wine tasting for 20 from Total Wine for starters) and a 50/50 raffle drawing at the end of the weekend. One lucky winner will receive 50% of the prize pool, and the other 50% going to Unscrewed Theater, a community-based, volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

 

Tickets are $8.00/Adults and $5.00/Kids (12 and under.) Like all of Unscrewed Theater's shows, guests can choose Your Funny Your Way. Attend the show in person or join the Live Stream celebration on Zoom!

 

Unscrewed Theater is located at 4500 E Speedway Blvd #39. The closest cross streets are Speedway & Swan. We're on the south side of the street, west of Swan and directly between Mama's Pizza & Sushi Ten and just two doors down from Dedicated gluten-free bakery.
