Subject: Reminder/Invitation to attend OPP weekly Zoom meeting 8-29-25

Old Pueblo Playwrights cordially invite you to attend their weekly Zoom meeting, Monday, September 29 beginning at 7 pm.  This will be a zoom only meeting and the link is below COMING OPP ATTRACTIONS:

The meeting always opens with OPP president, John Vornholt asking "What's Up?"  We respond by plugging shows we are in, shows we've seen, are about to open, just closed, or are soon to hold auditions.

We will follow that with a membership wide discussion led by Debra Vassallo about what is "Beyond OPP" when it comes to promoting our newly minted plays.

On a related note: member Larry Gutman asked me to share his info with you all about an upcoming production at Borderlands Theatre.

**************************************************************************

We're proud to bring back to the stage Claudia's Family, a moving and timely play by Tucson playwright Julieta Gonzalez — the first Latina to graduate from the University of Arizona's Theater Dramatic Writing Program. Originally developed through Old Pueblo Playwrights, Claudia's Family returns some thirty years later in a full production directed by Marc David Pinate, honoring Gonzalez's artistic legacy and her dedication to telling the stories of Tucson's Mexican American community.

The Scoundrel & Scamp Theater  738 N. 5th Ave #131, Tucson, AZ 85705  Show runs Oct 30 - Nov 7   Buy Tickets!
