The Theatre Dybbuk residency at the Tucson J

Welcome to the theatre dybbuk residency at the Tucson J!

The stories we tell shape the world we see.

This fall, the Tucson J is excited to present an artist residency with California-based theater company, theatre dybbuk. Blending performance, storytelling, and community engagement around themes of Jewish identity, othering, and cultural memory, the residency will culminate in two dynamic productions of Dracula (Annotated), each followed by a talkback with the cast and crew.

Throughout the residency, expect Dracula-themed social events, a cooking workshop, panel discussions, a masterclass and writing workshop with artistic director, Aaron Henne, and so much more. This immersive experience invites everyone to explore Jewish folklore, history, and the enduring power of storytelling.

Join us throughout October to reflect, connect, and truly be a part of the story! Please visit the schedule of events for a full listing of activities and to save your spot.

If you have any questions about any of these programs, please reach out to Chloe Loos, Director of Arts and Culture at the Tucson J, at cloos@tucsonjcc.org or call the front desk at (520) 299-3000.
