Tucson Improv Movement: the HAVEN Champions for Recovery to do a fundraiser show.

Big news, TIM fans— we're thrilled to announce that Suzi Barrett, host of the Yes, Also Podcast, will be joining us for this year's Tucson Comedy Arts Festival! She'll be teaching and performing during the fest, and I can't wait for our community to learn from and laugh with her. We love to bring in awesome teachers from other cities for the festival, and Suzi joins a long lineup of super improvisers we've had in Tucson!

We'll be unveiling the full festival schedule and brand next week, so stay tuned — and be sure to mark your calendars for November 7–15. It's going to be an incredible two weeks of comedy, creativity, and connection at the 11th Annual Tucson Comedy Arts Festival.

On Friday night, we have a very special Soapbox Show; we are partnering with the HAVEN Champions for Recovery to do a fundraiser show. The show is a bit more expensive at $20 a ticket, but all of the proceeds benefit the HAVEN, we will also be sending a portion of the profits from all shows this weekend as a part of our donation. So come out on Friday to hear stories from Nicole Johnson, and support a great cause!

This Saturday brings something fun and spooky: The Art Cart with Caroline Martin rolls into the theater at 5:30 pm for an evening of Halloween-themed crafts before the comedy starts. Last month's turnout was amazing, and this is the perfect way to ease into a night of laughter with a little creativity. Come for the crafts, stay for the comedy — it's going to be a great weekend at TIM!
