Hello Friends,

 

You may remember Jeanmarie Simpson, who attended our meeting for several years and now lives in Glendale, AZ.  She founded a nonprofit called Arizona Theatre Matters which is a universally accessible theatre with videotaped performances that feature sign language actors and audio description.  She wrote a play about the Arizona suffragist Frances Munds, and I worked with her to guarantee historical accuracy.

 

This play, called Unyielding Voices, is being screened this Saturday at the Nanini Library at 2 pm. The address is 7300 N. Shannon Rd.  Sorry for the late notice, I will be leading a discussion after the screening.
