As educators, we always face the challenge of bringing content to life for students. The performing arts do just this by creating immersive, educational experiences that are hard to replicate in any other way! Enter The American Revolution: a rowdy, imaginative, theatrical take on history.
Within only 21 square feet of space, 7 actors tell the epic saga of America's fight for freedom using only their bodies, voices, and (pantomimed) cannons—mixing tongue-in-cheek humor with bold physical theatre. With the 250th anniversary of American Independence being celebrated this school year, what better time to engage students with the story of this powerful moment in history, in a way that they won't forget!?
