Subject: Trading Spaces on TLC is coming to Tucson!
Hi Bill,
Trading Spaces, the home decoration show on TLC, is shooting 2 episodes in the Tucson area and we’re looking for fun, outgoing, interesting homeowners (even renters if they can get permission from their landlords) to appear on the show. We tend to call theatres when researching a city because it’s often where we find our best guests for the show! We’re in our sixth season now and the network is trying to freshen it up. We’re looking for lively, extroverted, quirky folks. I’ve attached more information including our general flier explaining the requirements, premise of the show, and how to apply as well as the actual application. The due date for applications is Saturday February 25 so it is quickly approaching! I’ve heard you’re the man with the list serve and would be so grateful if you could get something out there. Feel free to forward any of the attachments. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions feel free to call me. Thanks again!

BACKGROUND: TRADING SPACES, produced by Banyan Productions, provides two neighbors with the budget, a professional designer, a carpenter, and 48 hours to redo a room of their choice. But there’s a catch - they have to switch houses, and they have no say in how their own room will look. Before work begins, neighbors write down how they’d like to redo their friends’ rooms; the designers receive these comments along with pictures and room measurements. Then, as soon as they switch house keys, the teams roll up their sleeves and get to work. After two days of grueling work, the rooms are totally transformed. Each team returns to their own home to see what’s become of their room. How will they react to their new room?
