ANNOUNCES!!!
SUMMER 2006 PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES

This will be an 8 week summer session
beginning June 17 and running through August 5

All classes will be held on Saturdays
at the Berger Performing Arts Center
1200 W Speedway Blvd.

The following classes will be offered:

DANCE (Instructor: Erin Howell)

Intro to Dance (5-9yrs) 10:00am - 10:45am A beginners dance class designed
to introduce basic elements of dance technique

Musical Theater Dance (13 TO ADULT) 11:00 - 12:15 An introduction to various
dance styles used in musical theater today with emphasis on Tap, Jazz and
Ballet.

TECHNIQUES OF ACTING (Instructors: Cynthia Howell & Brandon Howell)
(13 TO ADULT) 2pm - 3:15pm
This class is designed to provide performers with basic acting skills.
Character Development, Improvisation, Scene Study and Audition Techniques
are just some of the subjects that will be introduced in this class.

FILM FOR ACTORS (Instructor: Luke Howell)
(13 TO ADULT) 3:30pm - 4:45pm
An introduction to acting for camera on television or film. This class will
explore acting techniques for camera and how they differ from stage or
theater.
The class will also cover various elements of film production that every
actor should understand to work in the field.

CHOREOGRAPHY (Instructor: Erin Howell)
(13 TO ADULT) 12:30pm - 1:45pm
ALL LEVELS OF DANCERS ARE WELCOME!!!
This class is designed for dancers that would like to take their skills to
the next level. The class provides an introduction to choreography
techniques and concepts through application.

Introduction To Dance Class: $80 ($10 per class) ALL OTHER CLASSES: $96 ($12
per class)

COMBINE 2 CLASSES (except Intro to Dance): $180 for the session COMBINE 3
CLASSES (except Intro to Dance): $250 for the session COMINE 4 CLASSES
(except Intro to Dance): $325 for the session
