FIRED
with filmmaker Annabelle Gurwitch (Melvin Goes to Dinner, NPR's Day to Day, Dinner and a Movie), Scott Carter (Executive Producer/Writer for Real Time with Bill Maher and co-founder of the Invisible Theatre in Tucson) and Roy Zimmerman, who will perform his song "I'm Fired" from the soundtrack.
Audience members will be invited to fill out pink slips and, after the screening, tell their own personal stories about being fired!!

Have you ever been fired?
FIRED is a documentary by Annabelle Gurwitch, a project that began when she was fired by her idol, Woody Allen.  She discovered that everyone she knows has been fired, and she began to collect their stories.
Ultimately FIRED is about what it means to be fired as an American worker in a global economy.  And while it sounds like a tragedy, the film is very funny, featuring some of America's smartest comic talent including David Cross, Sarah Silverman, Tim Allen, Larry Charles, Andy Dick, Fred Willard and Illeana Douglas.
