2007 Worldwide Reading of WHAT I HEARD ABOUT IRAQ

-------- Original Message --------
Subject: 2007 Worldwide Reading of WHAT I HEARD ABOUT IRAQ
Date: Tue, 20 Feb 2007 17:13:50 EST
From: FTheatre@aol.com

Dear Fellow Artists and Activists,

This is a call to present a Worldwide Reading of WHAT I HEARD ABOUT IRAQ to
mark the 4th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, which is on March 20,
2007.

Given the state of emergency in Iraq, overwhelming worldwide opinion about
America's need to redeploy and pull out, an ineffectual Congress, and an
intractable "I'm the Decider" President, it's more important than ever that
we cry out about this war to continue to affect public opinion and,
eventually, change government policy.

10 American soldiers died just yesterday... and no one can agree on the
Iraqi body count.

For information about the project, please visit

http://www.fountaintheatre.com/WHATIHEARDABOUTIRAQ-FutureProductionsEvents.htm

For a copy of the 2007 draft of the play that brings it uptodate, click here
...
http://www.pipeline.com/~drmemory/What%20I%20Heard%20-%20

It can be done in many styles - from people sitting in chairs with scripts
in hand to a fully staged multimedia presentation (multimedia packets
available) - and can be cut to any length to fit programming needs - current
version runs approx. 75 minutes.

WHAT I HEARD ABOUT IRAQ premiered at the Fountain Theatre in Los Angeles in
2005, was read in 45 cities around the world on March 20, 2006; won the
prestigious 2006 Edinburgh Fringe First Award; is being produced at the 2007
Adelaide Fringe Festival in March; is receiving a 25-city UK tour beginning
April 2007; and is being produced by BBC Radio 4 airing April 2007. Plus
other readings/productions planned for March/April 2007.

If you are interested in presenting a reading or production, please let me
know. All rights are reserved, so you need to contact me for permission to
present.

Am happy to answer any questions you might have.

in peace and passion,

Subject: [IFASA] Producers and Pre-production assistants needed. -- Is GABY
still around?

Nldfilm is looking for local people to help us out in several areas of
feature film production. This is a feature film production that has a small
budget, and distribution in place.

If you were at the Club Congress mixer, you may have met one of my
production co-patriots, James Nagy. You would be working with me, and we
will be augmenting James efforts as well.

If you have experience putting together media kits or other areas of project
development and pre-production, then please contact me.

An IMDB resume is not required, but a history of film or music production or
finance is necessary.

Tucson: Casting call for short Romantic comedy

-----Original Message-----
From: angryduck4321@yahoo.com
Sent: Sunday, February 11, 2007 7:26 PM
Subject: Casting call for short Romantic comedy

We're looking to cast for a short romantic comedy. The rolls we're
looking to fill are one male age 20-30, and one female 20-30. This is
for a small local competition and if we win the prize money will be
split amongst us. Filming will take place this weekend 16-18th.

These rolls have very little speaking parts. Although this is a
Romantic comedy, no kissing or anything like that is involved.
Because of time constraints we will not be holding auditions, so
please send a headshot with your reply and let us know if you've had
any other on screen or acting experience.

We've already got a good crew lined up and this should be a fun and
quick shoot.

Please reply to Will or Mike at
tandcpictures@yahoo.com
