Subject: [Tucson Actors Forum] Casting for Musical, Brigadoon - singers,
dancer, actors, and rehearsal pianist

Francis and Claire Theatre Ensemble presents: Brigadoon.

Rehearsals are Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. This is a small
community theatre group, so it is a non-paying gig. However, you will get
credit and be performing in a 110-120 seat theatre. (There is a small
compensation for rehearsal pianist.)

Show dates are April 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, and 22, 2007 at St. Francis In The
Foothills, located at Swan and River.

We are looking for ensemble singers, dancers, actors, to act as villagers
(both male and female) as well as the following characters:

- Andrew McLaren, Male, 40s-50s - Father of Fiona & Jean, a hearty soul. He
is a bit pompous and has a loud and gruff voice.

-Angus McGruffie, Male, 30s - Middle thirties, sells eggs, milk and cream in
the MacConnachy Square with Meg.

-Mr. Lundie, Male, late-50s - A quaint Scottish school master in his late
fifties. Wears glasses and a red Tam O'Shanter. He is kind, his manner
entirely benign, and he speaks with little trace of emotion. He is the
"Dominie" of Brigadoon. His "accent" is pronounced but he is always
intelligible.

-Meg Brockie, Female, 20s - With Angus, she sells milk and cream in
MacConnachy Square.

-Maggie Anderson, Female - Has a "yearnin" for Harry Beaton. (Dancer,
non-speaking)

Auditions are going to be held at Studio Connections, located within the
Episcopal Church of St. Matthew at 9071 E. Old Spanish Trail (in between
Harrison and Camino Seco). The dates and times for the auditions are
Wednesday, February 7 th and Friday, February 9th from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM.
Please prepare a song, short monologue, and/or movement routine (dance).

Please schedule a time by e-mailing:
casting@studioconnections.net
If you are unable to make the times above,
we are flexible and can schedule another date and time.
