Tucson Arts Brigade presents the 3rd Annual celebration of THE WATER FESTIVAL: Synergy of Art, Science, and Community.  Participate in the one-of-a-kind event that brings a broad cross-section of community together through diverse activities for learning, networking, family-friendly fun, and creative engagement with water and community issues. The Water Festival is a prime opportunity to engage with both colleagues and the public.

Volunteer to help with the planning of activities, outreach, and other fun and creative aspects of festival-making. For your convenience, evening and lunch times are available:

4th Floor Conference Room
Take Speedway, go 1.5 blocks South on Mountain to the end.
Building at traffic circle. Parking garage on corner.

 

TUESDAY, DEC. 6

Park 1 block South of Broadway on Jackson Street, just East of Stone.

Practice creative ways to wrap gifts
and finalize logistics for the event.

 

 

SIGN UP TO GIFT WRAP

Available shifts for Dec. 9-11:

•  Wrapping paper (solid colors, patterns, Xmas/Hanukah/Kwanzaa/B-Day)
•  Butcher paper / end rolls of newspaper production (for stuffing/wrapping)

•  Boxes (many shapes/sizes)

•  Gift bags (for small/medium/large light weight items)

•  Tissue paper (various colors)

•  Bows (various sizes/colors)

•  Ribbons (various thickness/colors)

•  String / yarn

•  Fabric (various, shiny, see-through, etc.)

•  Gift tags / cards / envelopes

•  Scotch tape / double-stick tape

•  Clear packing tape

•  Blue light tack tape (tape orders to gifts)

•  Staplers (make bows from ribbons)

•  Staples

•  Scissors

•  Glue (just in case)

•  Pens

•  Markers (for cards or quick draw on wrapping paper)

•  Doubled raffle ticket roll (to write contact info on orders)

•  Sticker paper (print out "Tucson Arts Brigade" mini stickers)

•  Any other gift wrapping material ideas and fancy extras... (doilies, mini-bells, tassels, charms, gem stickers, origami, mini-Xmas tree bulbs, small stuffed animals, fake flowers, dried natural items like mesquite pods, etc.)
