FRINGE 9.5
Fringe 9.5 is an all digital performing arts festival, some of which will be pre-recorded and available on our website, and some of which will be livestreamed the weekend of January 7-10, 2021.
FRINGE 9.5 FAQ
How Do I Apply To Be In Fringe 9.5?
The application will be on our website Sept 1st - Oct 15th.
How Much Does It Cost?
The application is FREE. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE.
AND each artist chosen will be awarded a $200-$500 grant to help them complete their work
How Will Performers/Artists Be Chosen?
It's Fringe. We'll hold a lottery. It's how we do things
Do I Have to Have A Project Ready Now?
Nope. Just like a regular Fringe Festival, you have to have a pretty solid idea of what the final outcome will look like, but if chosen in the lottery, you'll have until December 15th to show proof of progress, and until January 15th to have a finished product.
Who Decides If My Show Is Pre-Recorded or Livestreamed?
You do, of course
Do I Still Receive 100% Of My Ticket Revenue?
Since we aren't selling tickets, no. But remember, each artist or artist group chosen in the Fringe lottery will be awarded a grant upon receipt of their signed contract
How Can I Help?
Tucson Fringe Festival is still committed to increasing the representation of BIPOC and youth on our board and volunteer committees. If you're interested in applying to be on our board, or volunteering with us please fill out the application below.
In addition, we are seeking a permanent Social Media Director. This is a paid position. If interested, please send your CV or Letter of Interest to tucsonfringe@gmail.com
