Bio: Kristin Overn

 

Kristin Overn is the Founder and Executive Director of the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, one of the world's top competitions for new screenwriters.  Kristin began her career working as an executive assistant and script reader in the development departments at Davis Entertainment and Bonneville Worldwide, and since that time she has collaborated with and provided script development and consulting services for dozens of writers, directors, producers, and production companies.  She also has extensive experience in film and television production, with credits that include: producing the independent features The Heart Specialist and Academy Boys, line producing and production managing the Bollywood comedy Americanizing Shelley and the festival hits Never Trust a Serial Killer and Across the Line, and serving as US Segment Producer for the BBC Docudrama The Swagman.Kristin is a graduate of Northwestern University, and she is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Directors Guild of America.
