"Ah, you get older and look back on why you did things,
you see that a lot of the time, there wasn't a reason.
You do a lot of things out of pure cussedness."

We're getting ready to open The Weir for live performances this Thursday! (The video will be ready starting next week on Thursday, March 4.)
With only 25% of the seats being used in the theatre, you'll have plenty of room to be socially distanced during the play, if you decide to come in person. We simply ask that you wear a mask and not congregate in the lobby. We'll be taking temperatures at the door, which we'll open 15 minutes before the play begins.
To give us some background on playwright Conor McPherson and a look at The Weir, please watch Director Christopher Johnson's talk about the play.
And Jerry James has written a wonderful accompanying essay about the fairies of Ireland: "Storytelling, Spooks, and the Sidhe." You can read it here.
We look forward to sharing this beautiful Irish play with you!
With deep appreciation,
Cynthia Meier
Managing & Associate Artistic Director
P.S. There's still time this week to enroll in Shakespeare's Women at The Learning Curve with some of your favorite Rogues. Each of six classes is available for a week. Half of the proceeds for the course goes directly to The Rogue. Click here to register.
Please enjoy Director Christopher Johnson's talk
recorded at The Rogue last week.
