Tucson Improv Movement Upcoming Shows and Classes

Subject: TIM Weekly News - 2/25/21

Last night was a big night for the Tucson Improv Movement. We had our first in person Improv 101 Class in over a year. Masked, socially distanced, limited to six people, and a deep clean before we were ready to go. It was so wonderful to be back in a room teaching comedy again. The first class went well, it looks like our measures worked for the set up of the class, and we will continue to monitor and see how this goes. It is so important for us to get back to having classes regularly, it is how our organization grows, connects with more people, and we enact our mission of spreading the movement of the philosophies of improv comedy. With that we have a slew of new classes on the docket, and will continue to "crack on," sorry I've been watching the Great British Bake Off.

On Sunday Sketch 101 lifts off at our lowest price ever $100. This class is going to be held virtually, and we are looking to fill it up. Please spread the word to those who might be interested, and consider signing up yourself. The class focuses on the basics of sketch comedy writing, and is a good introduction to game of the scene and how to build stronger writing skills.

We are still waiting on the world to change in relation to in person shows. So keep masking up, and I hope to have better news for you next week on that front!
