We're excited to share with you the revelry of As You Like It as we open for live performances this Thursday! (The video will be ready starting next week on Thursday, April 29.)
With only 25% of the seats being used in the theatre, you'll have plenty of room to be socially distanced during the play, if you decide to come in person. We simply ask that you wear a mask and not congregate in the lobby. We'll be taking temperatures at the door, which we'll open 15 minutes before the play begins.
We're also delighted to share some in-depth interpretation of As You Like it, with Professor Peter Medine's talk about the play.
And Jerry James has written a fascinating accompanying essay about the plague during Shakespeare's time: "The Black Death." You can read it here.
We look forward to sharing this wonderful comedy with you!
With deep appreciation,
Cynthia Meier
Director
P.S. You can still order season tickets to our 2021-22 Season! Click here to get your tickets.
Please enjoy Dr. Peter Medine's talk
recorded at The Rogue last week.
