human needs. An original drama inspired by interviews and stories of local
residents who struggle with these critical issues.

GAYTINO!
by Dan Guerrero
“A master story teller, Guerrero takes us on a rollercoaster ride…"
LA Stage Magazine

"Gay, Chicano, Proud - and Funny. Dan Guerrero Dishes Up Comedy with Teeth"
San Jose Mercury News

When his legendary father Lalo Guerrero was composing classic Mexican
anthems like "Cancion Mexicana" and "Nunca Jamas," little Danny Guerrero was
lip-syncing in his bedroom to Ethel Merman and Judy Garland records. And
when Lalo finally made it to Broadway with his music in “Zoot Suit”, Dan had
moved from song-and-dance man to Broadway agent. In Gaytino! Dan Guerrero
takes us on a remarkable forty-year journey, from Cesar Chavez to Stephen
Sondheim, from LA to NY and back, and from the back of the bus to the front
of American pop culture. Touching, hilarious and absolutely one-of-a-kind,
this sixty-plus Chicano finally brings his two fascinating worlds together
in this riveting solo show con musica, of course!
October 27 & 29. Leo Rich Theatre, In collaboration with the Puro Mexicano
Theater and Film Festival.

A TUCSON PASTORELA
by Toni Press-Coffman
An all time favorite for the 11th year. The incredible and wacky adventures
of the Shepherds, Sheep and Dog on their trek to Bethlehem to witness the
birth of the Baby Jesus. Featuring sneaky Devils and shinning Archangels in
a new script by our own Toni Press-Coffman. Live waila music and piƱatas for
the little ones.
December 14-23. Leo Rich Theater.

HIPPIE MEXICANA
by Evangeline Ordaz WORLD PREMIERE COMEDY!

canals, the Rios extended family is “digging” the remnants of the Age of
Aquarius. An unexpected archeological finding in their backyard unleashes a
series of momentous events that transforms their “laid-back” lifestyle
forever.
