Film Casting Notice
We are currently accepting submissions for an independent film called, "Sex,
Drugs, and Money." Some strong language but this is not an offensive film.
This is a Comedy. Well-written story. The film will shoot mostly nights in
Tucson beginning July 20th for 12 days. Film is NON- UNION. Script available
in advance to scheduled auditioners when requested by email.
Auditions will be held this Friday, July 7th only at our office in Pheonix
by appointment only. Auditions are for speaking roles only. Extras and
background will not be auditioned.
Character Breakdown: Tyler: Male. Leading role. Age 17-24. Any ethnicity.
College bound but likes to smoke weed in his free time. The leader in his
group of stoner friends. Also narrates the film. Strong comedic ability a
must. Gray: Male. Age 17-24. Leading role. Any ethnicity. Smart but
unmotivated to attend college. He watches a lot of TV and is an expert on
film quotes. Smokes a lot of weed and loves junk food. Acts dumb, but ends
up being a hero in the film and saves the day. Strong comedic ability a
must. Lloyd: Male. Age 17-24. Leading role. Any ethnicity. College bound but
also likes to smoke weed. Lives for food and women. Strong comedic ability a
must. Dan: Male. Age 18-45. Leading role. Any ethnicity. Small time drug
dealer. Kind of a punk. Must be good with physical humor. Stunt skills a
plus. Ahmed: Male. Age 25-55. Supporting role. Arabic decent. Ability to
speak Arabic a plus. Must be able to play a scary terrorist with a comedic
flare. Terrorist #2: Male. 25-55. Supporting role. Arabic decent. Ability to
speak Arabic a plus. Must be able to play a scary terrorist with a comedic
flare. Caitlin: Female. Age 18-24. Supporting role. Any ethnicity. Pretty.
Loves to party but pretty smart too. Nicole: Female. Age 18-24. Supporting
role. Any ethnicity. Pretty. Loves to party but pretty smart too. Norma:
Female. Age 25-45. Supporting role. Speaking. Any ethnicity. News reporter.
Pretty. Diner Cashier: Female. Age 25-55. Speaking. Featured, speaking role.
Any ethnicity. Trailer trash type. Eccentric. Tries to be funny. A real
hard-edged, smart-ass type. Diner Extras: Eccentric types. The crazier
looking the better. Airport Background: Professional types and families
going on vacation. Graduation Extras: College graduates. Parents.
Grandparents. Party Extras: Young party types. Movie Crew Extras:
Stereotypical "crew" types (note: this is a call for actors playing crew
types. It is NOT a crew call.) Bikini Beach Girls: Beautiful young women in
bikinis. (There is no nudity)

Note: For this project, please submit directly to our casting office even if
you have an agent because at least one the agencies we usually call on is
closed for vacation this week and we may not be able to reach you in time
for the auditions. If you are with an agent, and you are being auditioned
for a paid role, we will call your agent, otherwise, we will contact you
directly.
