OPEN CASTING CALL:  First Words: Relativity Festival

Stark Naked Productions seeks actors for its First Words: Relativity Festival.   The event, co-sponsored by Wingspan, Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays and the Arizona Human Rights Fund includes 4 new plays (2 shorts, 2 full-lengths) on the theme of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender family life.  Plays will be performed on a rotation from October 19 through October 22 at Zuzi's Theatre in the Historic Y.  Sara Falconer, Adrienne Perry, David Swisher and Richard Chaney are directing.

We are specifically looking (but not limited to) actors to fill the following roles:

Female Roles

2, age range 14-18  

1, African-American, age range 18-25 

1, age range 20-35 

1, age range 30-45  

1, age range 50-65  

2, age range 60-75 

Male Roles

2, age range 14-18 

1, African American, age range 18-25  

5, age range 25-45 

1, African American, age range 35-55  

Auditions will be held Saturday, July 22 from 1:00-4:30 at Wingspan, 425 East 7^th Street, ½ block east of North 4^th Avenue.  Call-backs are scheduled for Sunday, July 23, 2:30-4:30, also at Wingspan.

We would be pleased to hear your prepared one-minute monologue, although it is not required.  Scheduled auditions insure that you will not be kept waiting, although walk-ins are welcome and will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
