FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WAYPOINT THEATRE COMPANY, southern Arizona’s faith-based live theatre company, has an immediate need for an experienced actress/singer (30s to mid-50s/soprano) to portray five distinctive characters in one role for the drama “Sioux Center Iowa” by Jeff Barker.

Eight actors portray 36 characters in the true story of Arlene Schuiteman, an Iowa school teacher turned Sudan missionary nurse in the l950s.  Woven into the story are several timeless hymns sung in tight, a capella harmony. 

Rehearsals are Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings—6:30-9pm at Catalina Foothills Church (Skyline/Orange Grove), with performances end of April through mid-May.
