I’m directing and producing an artistic short, called “Urban Jesus.” This is a non-religious, spiritual art video which will be entered into film festivals. I’m especially looking for actors who feel a connection to the Spirit of Jesus.

Easy shooting schedule - 1 or 2 half days starting in the early morning. Locations are mostly exteriors in Tucson and surrounding areas.

Need a variety of people to play Jesus and deliver short monologues.

- Need one male with a classic-European-Jesus look with at least shoulder-length hair, age 20-35 years old. (Must have long hair or realistic-looking wig.)
- One Male with longish hair, at least past chin length. Age 30-50’s. Graying hair is acceptable.
- One girl with at least shoulder-length hair and one boy with hair at least longer than a crew cut (preferably longer than chin length.) Age 5-10. Must be able to recite lines. Need parents’ permission.
-Two women with long hair, at least shoulder-length hair, parted in the middle. Age 20-50’s. Any ethnicity.
-Two males with shoulder-length hair 20-50’s. Any ethnicity.

Audition time to be determined.

If you are interested, please email me your head shot and resume or call me at
520-623-2629 and leave a message if I don’t pick up.

No Pay, but you get snacks, water, transportation (if needed) and a DVD copy and you will be notified of any film festivals that will be showing this short. If this video short gets recognized at film festivals, it could be a stepping stone for your acting career.
