Subject: Star arts preview
There is relief in store.
You know this because while it’s sizzling outside, the Arizona Daily Star is
planning our fall Arts Preview. Just think cooler days are a preview away.
This year, we are planning a seperate section for museums and galleries.
Of course, to put together comprehensive previews of the performing and
visual arts, we need your help.
Organizations should send us information on events through mid-January.
We need the event, the venue and address, the beginning and end dates, a web
site and a phone number to call for the public.
If you are a theater company, please include the playwright and a line or
two describing the play.
Museums and galleries, attaching a few jpg images (with at least a 200 dpi
resolution) of work from an upcoming show is a good idea. Be sure to include
the name of the work, the medium, size and artist.
Send information by Aug. 12 to the following people:
· Kathleen Allen, theater, ballet, galleries, museums, kallen@azstarnet.com
· Cathalena E. Burch, music, including pop, country and classical, cburch@azstarnet.com
Remember that deadline ‹ Aug. 11. In the meantime, stay cool.
