Prescott College Tucson Center presents...

"And The Body Responds!"

-A free one-day/two-hour workshop for Actors.

The workshop will be held this Saturday, June 11th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at
Prescott College Tucson Center, 2233 E. Speedway Blvd. The workshop is free
and open to all interested actors and/or students.

The focus of this workshop will be principles of physical actions for
actors. Respectful and attentive participation is required by all who
attend. Please arrive prior to the start time and wear loose and/or
comfortable clothing. The Center is air-conditioned and water will be
available. Participants may bring other snack or beverages as needed/wanted.

The workshop will be moderated by Angela Horchem and David Greenwood.

Angela Horchem, co-founder of the Illegitimate Theatre Ensemble, combines a
background in team sports with a passion for theatre. After earning her M.A.
in theatre from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Angela went on to study
at Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Whether approaching
Shakespeare or an original, devised work, Angela brings a passion for
character, love for the physical, and spirit of exploration and discovery.

David Greenwood is the former Director of Tucson Art Theatre and is the
Facilitator for Actor's Gymnasium. David's work and training for actors is
centered on the nature of creativity for the stage, its particular problems
and opportunities - the quest for precise and profound expression, springing
from personally meaningful circumstances.
