is now accepting applications for the position of

BOX OFFICE ASSOCIATE – TUCSON OFFICE

Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Arizona Theatre Company Patrons. Requires night and weekend shifts.

 

Position Requirements: The ideal candidate is friendly, with outstanding customer service skills; is detail-oriented; has good telephone etiquette and good computer skills; including knowledge of Microsoft Excel; is able to work in a fastpaced environment and multi-task. Box office experience and ticketing system knowledge a plus.

 

Responsibilities

Process Ticket Sales including but not limited to assisting with season reset, processing season orders, assisting with season printing and mailing, assisting in maintaining database, processing reservations for all ATC performances, processing ticket exchanges and maintaining proper records, completing exchanges by phone, mail or fax and maintaining proper records, maintaining e-mails received via the website, processing and mailing season tickets and pass orders, maintaining a positive and professional attitude when interacting with ATC staff and patrons.

 

Completes reports and monitors revenue including but not limited to end of day reconciliation for sales,

assisting in maintaining accurate season and single accounts, monitoring cash drawer so proper change is

available. Miscellaneous may include but not limited to, attending opening night performances, working the renewal table during the renewal period (evening and weekend hours); maintaining a general knowledge of all aspects of ATC history, department functions and background of shows in the current season, and other tasks as assigned.

 

Start Date: Immediately

Status: Full Time – non exempt (hourly)
