What's a shadowcast?
A shadowcast is a cast that performs usually cult movies on a stage, with a personal comedic twist, while the movie plays on the stage behind them. This means the audience gets to interact with with cast as they're acting, and the cast gets to interact with this audience. Think: Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Loft.
As with any local shadowcast, it's all organized by volunteers who do it for the love of the show and the love of stage. Please read: Volunteer. As a shadowcast, we are presented with opportunities to collaborate with other local casts, establishing our own fanbase and regular shows, and even guest appearances and shows at conventions! Thankless Job as been featured at RinCon, TuCon, Oracle View, the Slaughterhouse, and soon-to-be anniversary RockyCon!
