Auditions for "Ghostblasters" - Gaslight Theatre
The Gaslight Theatre in Tucson is holding open call auditions for their 2014 spring show, "Ghostblasters". Something downright strange is happening in New York. The city is being overrun with silly spirits and gruesome ghosts. There seems to be no one capable of stopping them from taking over the entire city. Or is there? A hastily assembled team of misfit scientists, calling themselves The Ghostblasters, step into the fray to do battle with the supernatural! Will there untried methods be enough to stop all of the mischief and mayhem? For a spine-tingling and side-splitting musical comedy adventure, WHO YOU GONNA CALL?! THE GHOSTBLASTERS!!
*Please note: Understudy roles are open for both genders. All roles will be double cast. All understudies are contracted to perform in a minimum of 10 shows. All roles are paid.
Actors needed:
MALES and FEMALES - experienced stage actors, ages 21 to 55. Performers must have a strong singing voice, high energy, dancing ability and good stage presence. *All roles will be double cast.

Please prepare: 32 bars of 2 contrasting songs that fully demonstrate your vocal ability. You may be asked to do a cold read and learn a short dance routine. Please bring a headshot, resume, and your own sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. No A cappella or recorded music please.
