Auditions for the following productions in the WRTE

2016-17 Season:

JULIUS CAESAR by William Shakespeare

Adapted and Directed by Michael Fenlason

Production Run: October 20-November 5, 2016

William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar is a raw and timeless study of power, conspiracy, murder, and revenge. Set in modern day Washington, WRTE presents Caesar in a modern context with the timeless language of the bard.  This production will feature an all female cast.  Ambition is not just a man's game.

Audition Times: 10AM-12:30 PM

Actors Needed: 6 females (all ages)

THE LANGUAGE ARCHIVE by Julia Cho

Directed by Susan Arnold

Production Run: March 16-April 9, 2017

In this lyrical, bittersweet comedy, George, a linguist consumed with preserving the dying languages of far-flung cultures, is losing his chance to preserve another language when its last two speakers refuse to talk to each other. In his own life however, language is failing him. He has no words to express how he feels toward his wife and is entirely oblivious of his lab assistant and her deep feelings for him.

Audition Times: 12:30-2PM

Actors Needed: 1 female and 1 male (30-50)

Auditions scheduled by appointment. Please contact Susan Arnold smarnold@dakotacom.net to request audition time.
