Improvisation Comedy Workshop
July 17-20th
This workshop is based on Viola Spolin's ground breaking improvisation exercises that spawned the Chicago Second City improv movement from which Saturday Night Live was born. Students enrolling in this four day intensive will participate in a variety improvisation warm ups leading to long form and short form exercises! No experience necessary. We hope to generate ideas/scenes for this year's A Tucson Pastorela through this workshop. Come ready to play and have fun!
4 consecutive evenings:
July 17-20th
Monday through Thursday, 6pm - 8:45pm
Class Fee: $60
Location: Sosa Carrillo House downtown Tucson.
La Pocha Nostra returns to Tucson, Arizona to presents a 7-day performance art intensive!!
August 6th-12th, 2017
This summer La Pocha Nostra returns to one of our favorite US cities to lead a 7-day workshop intensive in gorgeous Tucson, Arizona. This live art laboratory is open to experimental performance artists, actors, dancers, theorists, activists and students from all over the world.
We are expecting participants spanning 4 generations and coming from various countries. Space is limited and expected to fill quickly - please send in your application ASAP!
