Saturday, June 24, 2017, 1:00-4:00 PM in the Community Center at St. Francis in the Foothills Church, 4625 E. River Rd., Tucson (northwest corner of Swan and River Rd.)
Cast is five men and five women, all races, all ages. Prepare a two minute song and bring music. There will be an accompanist. Please bring resume and head shot.
Godspell2012 is the story of a small group of people who help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden) ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
Show dates are March 2-18, 2018 at St. Francis Theatre.
