SEASON AUDITIONS

 

Audition Date:

Wednesday, June 28th

at the Arizona Rose Theatre

4500 N Oracle Rd, Suite 329

(in the Tucson Mall - Lower Level by Macy's)

 

AUDITIONS FROM 7:45pm  to 9:00pm

 

This fall the Arizona Rose Opera Co. will be presenting Engelbert Humperdinck's beloved opera, "Hansel and Gretel."  This full length production will be performed in English and will be sure to please adults and children alike.  The AZ Rose Opera Company's mission is to make opera accessible and enjoyable for a modern audience.  All lead roles will receive a stipend.

 

Performance Dates:  September 29th through October 1st

 

Characters Needed:

Peter (father), baritone

Gertrud, (mother), mezzo soprano

Hansel, mezzo soprano

Gretel, soprano

The Gingerbread Witch, soprano or tenor

The Sandman Fairy, soprano

The Dew Fairy, soprano

 

If you have auditioned for the company before and you feel you have something new to present you may audition again.  Please bring resume, headshot, and an operatic selection in English that showcases your acting and performing range.  A pianist will be provided.
