Characters:
Dodge: Male in his seventies
Halie: Dodge's wife
Tilden: Their oldest son
Bradley: Their next oldest son, an amputee
Vince: Tilden's son
Shelly: Vince's girlfriend
Father Dewis: A protestant minister.
About the Play:
A dysfunctional family deals with a terrible secret and grapples with the "American Dream".
Auditionees:
Bring a prepared monologue (no longer than 3 minutes) and be willing to work this monologue in different ways. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes which will allow movement. Note: There is no formal dancing in this play. Be prepared to read from the script. Acting experience preferred but not required. Actors will be paid a stipend.
