Marc Pinate, "Veteranos" script reading

This project was funded in part by the Arts Foundation's New Works Grant, funded by the City of Tucson.
Marc Pinate: a theatrical solo performance of monologues, titled “Veteranos,” based on interviews with war veterans from South Tucson. Incorporating live Son Jarocho music and poetry, Pinate will transform into personas, male and female, of local WWII to Iraq War veterans, investigating the tradition of patriotism and sacrifice.
