Subject: Troubadour Theatre Improv Workshops for ages 7-18

 

Troubadour Theatre is offering some fun Improv workshops this summer, Improv I for ages 7-12, and Improv II for ages 11-18.  Improv II is this Saturday, June 9, and we're hoping to get a more more joining last minute, so if you know anyone who might be interested, please share!   

 

These are full day workshops where students will learn new improv games, work on improv skills, and conclude the day with a free improv showcase for family and friends.  The workshop is a small group, so plenty of individual attention and stage time for each student.  Prior experience is not required for Improv II, but they will work up to more advanced games than Improv I as the older kids are able to pick up improv techniques more quickly.  The instructor will work with everyone at their individual skill level.  

 

All workshops take place at Troubadour Community Classroom 204 W Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ

 

Improv II Workshop

Ages 11-18, No experience required

1 Day, Saturday June 9, 10am-3pm

Performance will start at 3:00pm

Instructor: Alex Totillo

Cost: $45

Students will learn new, fun improv games and prepare for a showcase for family and friends to conclude the day.

 

Improv I Workshop

Ages 7-12, No experience required

1 Day, Saturday July 14, 10am-3pm

Performance will start at 3:00pm

Instructor: Alex Totillo

$45, or only $30 thru 6/24

Students will learn new, fun improv games and prepare for a showcase for family and friends to conclude the day.

Musical Theatre Workshop

Ages 10-18, No experience required

1 Day, Tuesday July 24, 9:00am-4:30pm

Performance will start at 4:30pm

Instructor:Jake Walters

$65, or only $40 thru 6/24 

Students will work on vocal skills and sing a selection of songs from various Broadway musicals.

 

Play in a Day! Workshop

Ages 11-18, No experience required

1 Day, Wednesday July 25, 9:00am-4:30pm

Performance will start at 4:30pm

Instructor: Kristen Wheeler

$65, or only $40 thru 6/24

Students will write, rehearse and perform their very own play, all in one day!
