opens this weekend. A soul-warming tale for all ages!
In this heart-warming tale by award-winning Australian playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer, triplet sisters live an ordinary life, filled with current cakes, sunflowers and the weight of the world.
Then, an unexpected event disrupts their lives, and slowly, slowly, they are edged out of their home. Finally, abandoned in the woods by their woodcutter father, they resolve to make their own way through the world, each heading in a different direction.
After years battling vikings, appeasing attitudinal badgers, and bringing sun to smoggy lands, the sisters discover their own inner strength--and that each step away from home has really been a step toward home all along.
This incredible ensemble piece, deftly directed by S&S Artistic Associate Holly Griffith, will pull at your heart strings and move you to laughter and tears.
