Your safety is our top priority, therefore we are implementing the following safety protocols and procedures for all performances in our 2021-2022 season. We are thrilled to welcome you back to the ballet this fall and appreciate your continued support as we work to deliver the highest caliber of live art during these challenging times.
- All patrons are required to show proof of either full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to attendance, supported by valid photo identification.
- All patrons are required, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask throughout the performance they are attending.
- As part of a wider set of protocols, Ballet Tucson requires all dancers, staff, contractors and ushers to be fully vaccinated as well.
- We ask that anyone experiencing symptoms stays home.
- A designated COVID-19 compliance officer for production, front of house areas, and lobby/patron entrance areas will be present at all performances.
Ballet Tucson's COVID-19 Protocols follow performing arts and event safety industry guidance and guidance developed by the State of Arizona, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Arizona Department of Health (AZDHS), state and federal occupational safety and health statutes, rules and standards, Arizona's relevant and current Executive Orders, and Pima County Health guidance. The protocols and procedures in this plan will be reviewed and updated frequently as local conditions and public health guidelines may change.
The safety of our community, patrons, staff, and volunteers is a top priority. Ballet Tucson has and will continue to follow guidance of federal, state, and local health officials. In context of rising transmission levels of Delta variant and substantial spread level in Pima County; per the most recent CDC recommendations (July 27, 2021) and Pima County Health Department guidance (July 28, 2021), all persons are strongly urged to wear a mask when indoors in public settings, regardless of vaccination status.
