HB2156 PASSES SENATE, ON TO FINAL HOUSE VOTE!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Film Jobs Bill HB2156 (formerly SB1708) passed the Senate in a late night vote of 19-9-2! The House will vote today, sometime after they reconvene at 11AM.

 

It's crucial that we don't take this momentum for granted, especially before this huge vote. All of us need to take action now in this final push.

 

Please call and/or email all 60 members of the House before 11AM today. Email list here, phone list here. Politely thank them for supporting HB2156, the Film Jobs Bill. If you've already sent emails, please resend with the new bill name HB2156.

 

Keep the message positive and aimed at the economic benefits of this bill--for example:

 

·    "Thank you for supporting HB2156 which will bring thousands of jobs to Arizona."

 

·    "Thank you for voting 'yes' on HB2156 which will create economic opportunities for small businesses like mine throughout the state."

 

·    "This bill is a fiscally responsible way to bring jobs to AZ."

 

·    "HB2156 is better than any competitive film bill created by other states because it emphasizes infrastructure and permanent jobs."

 

If you've already made your calls and emails, please ask friends and family to do so too. Each call and email makes a big impact.
